The Capitol District Recognition Dinner will be held at First Baptist Church on Thursday, May 8th. This is our annual fellowship and recognition of volunteers and units for their accomplishments during 2007. You are welcome to arrive as early as 5:45 PM for reception in the Adams Room. The Dining Hall doors will open at 6:15 to begin seating. The program and serving of dinner will begin promptly at 6:30 PM.

Advance registration is required by 5:00 pm May 1. This year we offer individual registrations for $15.00 or a group can reserve a table that seats 6 for $80.00. FRIENDS OF SCOUTING
The 2008 Friends of Scouting campaign is currently underway. We have met our goal of $110,000 in pledges. Congratulations on those volunteers who helped to raise the pledges.

If you haven't turned in your 2008 Centennial Quality Unit Commitment and Achievement Form to the District Executive, You still have time. They need to be turned in no later than March 31st.
