RIVERS DISTRICT CUB SCOUT CHUCKWAGON – AUGUST 14
The following e-mail is being sent at the request of Millie Hampton, Cub Scout Chuckwagon coordinator:

In the planning stage for out Annual CHUCKWAGON to be held on August 13th – 15th, 2010
Location TBA later. What I need are volunteer adults and Boy Scouts to assist with the planning
and at the “Stations” Without your assistance this will only be a” mediocre” event; with your assistance

BOY SCOUT LEADER SPECIFIC TRAINING
During 2010 the BSA is pushing to have ALL direct contact scouting leaders complete specific training for the position in Scouting that they hold. By the end of 2011 ALL leaders must be trained or else units will not be allowed to register those adults.
For Boy Scout Leaders the training involves four phases:
1. Fast Start (Can be taken on-line)
2. This is Scouting (Can be taken on-line)
3. Youth Protection (Can be taken on-line)
4. Position Specific
