The Richmond Area Sporting Clays Classic is the Heart of Virginia Council's signature special event. It is conducted like a golf tournament, but with more firepower. Teams of 4 people move through 12 stations shooting three true pairs or report pairs at each station. This is a great event for shooters at all levels, including beginners.

Eagle Bricks at Camp T. Brady Saunders

A lasting method of honoring an Eagle Scout son or friend is to purchase an Eagle brick to have made with the Eagle Scouts name on it and added to the Eagle Plaza at Camp T. Friends of Scouting Dinner Feb 16

Friends of Scouting is an extensive annual campaign that raises dollars to support the Heart of Virginia Council budget. Friends of Scouting accounts for over __% of the income for the council and is used to support programs, facilities, staff, communications and much more.
Each year the Heart of Virginia Council spends approximately $100 per registered youth member above and beyond national registration fee and local unit expenses to maintain the needed support for the Scouting program to be offered to the community.
