The Heart of Virginia Council is broken down into a number of districts and divisions.  The map below (coming soon) and the district descriptions will help you determine what district you are a member of.

Districts

Northern Neck District includes the Counties of Westmoreland, Richmond, Lancaster and Northumberland.

Rappahannock District includes the Counties of Essex, King William, King and Queen and Middlesex.

Capitol District includes the City of Richmond.

Battlefield District includes the Counties of New Kent and Charles City and the part of Henrico and Hanover Counties east of Interstate 95.

Cardinal District includes the County of Goochland and the part of Henrico and Hanover Counties west of Interstate 95.

Huguenot Trail District includes the County of Powhatan and the part of Chesterfield County north of Powhite Parkway and Old Hundred Road.

Crater District includes the cities of Colonial Heights, Hopewell and Petersburg, the counties of Prince George and Dinwiddie and the part of Chesterfield County south of Happy Hill Road and east of Interstate 95.

Arrohattoc District includes Chesterfield County south of Powhite Parkway and Old Hundred Road, north of Happy Hill Road, and west of Interstate 95.

Weyanoke District includes the Counties of Buckingham, Cumberland, Prince Edward, Amelia and Nottoway.

Meherrin District includes the Counties of Mecklenburg and Lunenburg.

Divisions

Exploring Division serves all Explorer Posts in the Heart of Virginia Council.

Learning for Life Division serves all school districts in the Heart of Virginia Council.

North District serves all Scoutreach units in the City of Richmond and all districts north of the James River.

South District serves all Scoutreach units in all districts south of the James River except those in the City of Richmond.
