Get Ready for the Adventure! 

If you are participating in the James River Adventure you will need to bring the following equipment.

• Personal clothing (close toed shoes or water shoes only, no open toed sandals or shoes)
• One pair of long pants and shoes (required for the tour of Bremo Power Plant) 
• Sleeping bag and mat
• Personal hygiene articles
• Sunscreen, bug repellant
• Rain Gear
• PFD, if you want to use your own (PFD's will be provided)
• Water bottle
• Fishing gear (optional)
• Camera (optional)
• Small Dry Bag for your lunch and anything you carry during the day in the canoe
• Tent
• Camp Chair 

Be sure you have your medical form complete.

The following equipment will be provided  

• Cooking and eating equipment
• All meals
• PFD's, river jackets
• All program materials
